Hands On Hong Kong Project Manager

Hands On Hong Kong (HOHK) is a non-profit organization that serves as an intermediary between volunteers and charity organizations. HOHK actively recruits, manages, and matches a network of individuals, community groups, and corporations to a wide-spectrum of volunteer activities. The cornerstone of HOHK is flexibility. HOHK works with direct service organizations to develop volunteer opportunities, which fit the schedule of busy working professionals, parents and students, and do not require a long-term commitment.

HOHK is currently seeking a full time Project Manager to join the team. Project Manager responsibilities include:

  • Managing and coordinating all HOHK volunteer activities with its charity partners
  • Managing and developing relationships with charity partners
  • Developing new volunteer activities with new and existing charity partners
  • Developing and managing volunteer activities for corporate sponsors
  • Drafting and sending out the HOHK newsletter
  • Updating and managing the HOHK website (training will be provided)
  • Responding to general email enquiries
  • Seeking out and executing fundraising opportunities, such as foundation proposals, organizing fundraising events, etc.

Candidates should have at least two to three years of project management experience, ideally in the NGO sector, and be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to the community and public service. We are looking for someone with good organizational and communication skills, who is reliable and outgoing. Applicants should be able to speak fluent Cantonese and English, with Mandarin also preferred.
