Restaurant Fundraising Drive Benefits Hands On Hong Kong and Disadvantaged Youth
Three Hong Kong restaurants raised more than HK$42,000 as part of their local charity drive over the holiday season. Between Nove mber 1 and December 22, Frog Face Fish, Zest, and Babek restaurants donated HK$10 for each lunch patron they received. All proceeds were given to HOHK and the Changing Young Lives Foundation. HOHK would like to thank Frog Face Fish, Zest, and Babek for their generous donation!
The end of the restaurant charity drive culminated in a luncheon at Frog Face Fish on December 30th for disadvantaged youth who participate in programs that are operated by the Changing Young Lives Foundation. More than 30 children and parents made the trip to Central to enjoy the holiday lunch, as well as games and gifts.
Several HOHK volunteers participated in the luncheon, helping the children travel to the restaurant and entertaining the children throughout the afternoon. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped out! |
