NGO mission and description of organization’s work
|
Our Centre for Refugees was established in 2004, and is the first and only community centre for refugees and asylum seekers in Hong Kong. Each month, we provide 600 vulnerable families and individuals with hot meals, clothing, shelter and other basic necessities. We also help parents get their children into school through our sponsorship programme, and make ways for adults to learn new skills. We provide case workers, advocacy support, counselors, and referrals for medical support and legal assistance and raise funds for housing and other necessities.
