|
SAF has grown quickly in the past two years and we need to review our processes so that we can work more efficiently. Our new cycle will begin in September and we need to review how the teachers are working, how their schedules are organized, how reporting works before we can hire some new teachers for the next cycle. HR guidelines to be set up by reviewing of staff contract with a benchmark of salary based on the skills and qualifications would also be useful and system to be put in place that allows us to manage staffs who all have different levels of commitment and responsibility.

NGO mission and description of the organization's work
|
The Sovereign Art Foundation's Make It Better Programme runs expressive arts workshops for disadvantaged children across Hong Kong. We provide teachers who visit marginalized schools and community centres who work with children who often have behavioral issues using expressive arts as a way to help them build confidence and communicate better. The Sovereign Art Foundation aims to be the number one provider of these types of workshops helping schools bridge communication between teachers and students.

| Impact of skills-based volunteer support on NGO and mission |
We are looking for a volunteer to help us become more efficient looking at our systems and schedules so we can work more effectively and be able to scale upwards to service more beneficiaries with the current resources we have.
