Emergency support for Hong Kong charities during Coronavirus outbreak
The impact of the Coronavirus has been felt acutely across Hong Kong, with local charities and the groups they serve critically affected by this public health emergency. The HandsOn Hong Kong team are staying in regular contact with our network of 100+ charity partners to establish the most critical community needs at this challenging time.
We have compiled an overview of their most urgent necessity needs below, in the hope of securing all that we can. These emergency items range from masks and sanitizer for families living in subdivided flats to food for low-mobility elderly who are unable to safely leave their home.
If you are looking for ways to help Hong Kong's most vulnerable during this crisis, please pick up any of the items listed below and deliver directly to your listed local non-profit. We suggest that you phone them ahead of time to let them know you are coming. Any number of items you can spare or secure will be gratefully received—thank you in advance for your kind support and generosity.
