Serve-a-thon: Company Students with Physical Disabilities in Repulse Bay
Description: Volunteers will accompany a group of 6 students (aged 6-18) with physical disabilities to explore Hong Kong community outside their dormitory. The special school hopes that the students can enjoy a good day out during weekend and learn more about the facilities like restaurants, cinemas, etc. in the community, local culture of different districts like arts centre, re-vitalized industrial buildings while communicating with others during the interactive outing.
Volunteers will accompany students to visit Repulse Bay. Volunteers will need to push the wheelchairs for the students.
Remarks
To comply with the government's latest epidemic prevention guidelines for the educational sector, all volunteers must
(1) present proof of vaccination indicating the completion of a COVID-19 vaccination course (3 doses) at least 14 days prior to the service day; and
(2) present a negative COVID-19 rapid testing result taken on the same day before the volunteering activity; and
(3) complete the health declaration form provided by the school.
All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with Hands On and sign up for the activity.
