Support students with disabilities at a special Christmas lunch

Description: What could be for meaningful than celebrating the festive season at a Christmas buffet lunch for students with intellectual and physical disabilities? Children and teens from three special needs schools will come together for a delicious lunch hosted at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel.

This will be a holiday highlight for many of the students—most of whom live in residential homes and rarely have the chance to leave their dormitory.  Volunteers will make the afternoon even more special for them by helping them to get food at the buffet, possibly helping them to eat and simply enjoying the lunch with them. Each volunteer will be invited to join the lunch.


 A briefing sheet will be sent in advance and a briefing will be conducted on-site before the lunch so volunteers understand what is required of them and what to expect. 

This activity is for Cantonese speaking volunteers. 

內容：與一群輕度至中度智能障礙及肢體弱能的學童共進自助午餐將會是有意義的聖誕，三所特殊學校的小孩和青少年將會到萬豪酒店的庭院享用聖誕自助午餐。這次午餐對於寄宿的學童將會是一個寶貴的經歷，他們甚少有機會離開宿舍。義工的參與及幫助他們取食物將會令這個下午更加特別。每位義工都被邀請一同享用聖誕自助午餐。

所有參與這個活動的義工都必須全面參與及支援弱能學童。參加者將預先收到一份簡介資料，活動前將會即場為義工進行簡介會講述當天的要求及詳情。

此活動的參加對象為粵語使用者。
