Birthday Party with Students With Severe Intellectual Disabilities in Yuen Long
Description: A large birthday celebration is being held at the Po Leung Kuk Law's Foundation School for all their students whose birthdays fall in December, January, Feburary. All of these students have severe intellectual disabilities and reside in the boarding section of the school. They rarely have the chance to leave the school, and some of them have never had a party to celebrate their birthday before. Help us to make this year's birthday really special for them! You will receive a detailed breifing on how to communicate with these students. After that you will be paired up with one student and stay with them throughout the party. All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with Hands On and sign up for the activity.
