Be a Story-Teller for Underprivileged Children in Kwai Chung
Description: This program helps the underprivileged children to develop a love of reading story books developed by Bring Me A Book Hong Kong. Volunteers are expected to read story to the beneficiaries. To instill the love of reading in underprivieged children. Bring Me A Book would like to invite trained storyteller to provide a meaning and fun reading time with kids. Volunteers mush have attended training session hosted in Central by Bring Me A Book before. We are looking for volunteers who can speak simply Cantonese, since the children are not able to understand English well. All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong and attended Bring Me A Book volunteer training session. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you in this activity, they must first register with HandsOn and sign up for the activity. Location: Kwai Chung
