Home Visit and Soup Delivery for Elderly in Sha Tin
Description: Help spread warmth and love to the elderly by visiting them at home and delivering soup. Volunteers will work in small teams to pay home visits to elderly citizens with low mobility or who live alone. These beneficiaries take great pleasure in the company of young people, and welcoming them into their homes.The program is funded by Sedan Chair Charities Fund.
Youths and children are welcome to join this activity if accompanied by a guardian—please contact HandsOn in advance if you plan to bring someone under the age of 16*.
All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with HandsOn and sign up for the activity.
* There are a maximum number of spaces available for young people to join this activity.
