Help Out at "My Story Creation" Workshop with Primary Students in Tseung Kwan O
Description: ‘My Story Creation’ Primary School Programme is a 4-hours creative writing and illustration curriculum (delivered in 2x 2-hour sessions) made available free as a community programme workshop to all under-resourced primary schools in Hong Kong who needs financial assistance.
In the workshops, participants develop skills to write and illustrate their own creative stories Volunteers are expected to facilitate smooth operation of the workshop by supporting the instructors with the classroom management and encouragement, and fun group activities No special skills or training needed as long as you love to work with children.
The detailed tasks are:
1. Classroom management
2. Distributing and cleaning up teaching materials
3. Provide guidelines to students on creative writing and illustration
All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you in this activity, they must first register with HandsOn and sign up for the activity.
