Celebrate Halloween with Students With Intellectual Disabilities in Yuen Long
Description: A great celebration of Halloween will be held at the Po Leung Kuk Law's Foundation School for all their students.
Volunteers are invited to dress up and host the "scary night" for the students and their families. The school will prepare the costume and also welcomes volunteers to have your own creation/ideas about the charters.
All of these students have severe intellectual disabilities and reside in the boarding section of the school. They rarely have the chance to leave the school, and some of them have never had a party to celebrate their birthday before. Help us to make this Halloween Party really special for them!
You will receive a detailed breifing on how to communicate with these students. After that, you will enjoy a dinner with students and their families before the "Scary Night" starts.
All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with Hands On and sign up for the activity.
