Youth Opportunity: Help out at Food Recycling Services in Tai Po!
活動簡介：義工將到街市回收賣剩的新鮮蔬果，免讓蔬果被當成垃圾運至堆填區，倍添堆填壓力。收集後，義工將賣剩的新鮮蔬果帶回倉庫，再進行篩選、分類、重新包裝食物。 所有參與義工必須為牽手．香港註冊義工。如你有親友想一起參加活動，他們必須先在牽手．香港註冊成為義工並登記參加活動。 Description: Volunteers will help to collect leftover vegetables at a wet market which otherwise will be trashed to landfills from a fresh market. Afterward, volunteers will carry the leftover vegetables to the warehouse and do some screening, sorting and repackaging for the food to be collected. All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member joining you on this activity, they must first register with HandsOn and sign up for the activity.
