Make Rice Dumplings & Home Visit to Elderly in Central
活動簡介：每逢節日，中心都會安排義工上門探訪中西區長者，與他們一同感受節日的氣氛。適逢端午節，中心義工導師會先教授製作迷你糉，然後送到長者的手中。
義工角色:
1. 學習製作和包糉
2. 上門探訪中環區行動不便、獨居或隱藏長者，向被訪長者派發迷你糉及與被訪長者聊天，表達你的關懷。
所有參與義工必須為牽手．香港註冊義工。如你有親友想一起參加活動，他們必須先在牽手．香港註冊成為義工並登記參加活動。
Description: During festivals, the center will arrange volunteers to visit the elderly in the Central and Western Districts to experience the festive atmosphere with them. During the Dragon Boat Festival, the center’s volunteer instructor will first teach volunteers how to make mini rice dumplings, and then deliver them to the elderly.
Volunteer roles:
1. Learn how to make and wrap rice dumplings
2. Home visit the elderly with disabilities, live alone or the hidden elderly in the Central District, distribute mini rice dumplings and chat with them to express your care.
All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with HandsOn and sign up for the activity.
