Supporting the Processing and Shipping Department at Crossroads
Description: Given the impact of COVID-19, vulnerable groups are in a greater need. Crossroads Foundation is now urgently seeking volunteers to:
- Sorting and packing donated goods: This is the main task in our processing departments (e.g. toys, household goods, clothing, and book departments).
- Or heavy work: The work involved in our shipping and furniture departments can often include heavy work (e.g. preparing furniture for shipments, loading containers, and unloading trucks).
Volunteers who can sign up for two sessions per week are preferable and highly encouraged. Remarks: In response to COVID-19, volunteers should please bring and wear their own masks during service. Centre staff and volunteers will adopt HandsOn Hong Kong COVID-19 safety precautions in-line with Centre for Health Protection guidelines.
