Remarks: This activity welcomes families to sign up — children aged 10 or above have to be accompanied by an adult. Given the current COVID-19 situation, volunteers should use their own judgement for whether this is appropriate for their children. Experienced staff will be on hand to make this an interesting and educational experience for the family. Volunteers should be at least 15 years of age to attend this activity without a parent or guardian. Volunteers want to bring their children who age over 10, please create children's account and sign them up along with your registration or send us an email to HOHK@handsonhongkong.org to register. Volunteers are expected to refrain from bringing single-use items to the beach, such as disposable plastic water bottles, rain coats, etc. Take the 1:30 pm ferry from Central Ferry Pier #3 as appropriate then head to Nim Shue Wan beach. It takes a 5-10 min walk to the beach. Upon arrival at the beach, let the staff know that you are with HandsOn Hong Kong.
