Outreach event to domestic workers (Family Welcome)
Description: HELP for Domestic Workers (HELP) is a non-profit organization to empower domestic workers through advice, assistance, education and support and to help them gain access to justice and receive fair and equal treatment.
HELP is looking for Community Outreach Volunteers for a half-day event on 11 April 2021 from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM to help:
- Give away beauty products to Domestic Workers around Central and Causeway Bay
- Assist Domestic Workers in answering a survey form
- Invite Domestic Workers to join HELP's Learning Community on Facebook in order to promote upcoming webinars on Domestic Workers' rights in Hong Kong
Note:
- Children aged 13 - 17 are welcome to join with parent's / guardian's consent
- Children younger than 13 need a parent or guardian to accompany
All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with HandsOn and sign up for the activity.
