Hong Chi Morningjoy School, Yuen Long is the first school for students with moderate intellectual disabilities in HK that has a dormitory which offers continuing education and 5 or 7-day residence for these children. The school not only encourages students to participate in activities and train for independence in order to assimilate into the society, it also strives to increase the general public’s understanding and acceptance of people with intellectual disabilities.
