ImpactHK is a charity tackling the problem of homelessness in Hong Kong. We transform lives because we believe in kindness, care and opportunity for all. We believe in the power of kindness in tackling the pressing problem of homelessness in Hong Kong.
ImpactHK’s goal is to earn trust and develop friendships with the homeless in Hong Kong. We know that providing homes and jobs is simply not enough. We have demonstrated time and time again that a holistic approach is needed. We need to get to know each individual on a one-to-one basis and help make a truly tailor-made plan for them.

| Impact of skills-based volunteer support on NGO and mission |
The support of the medical volunteer could help our beneficiaries in improving their well-being directly. It is common seeing our friends missing their hospital appointments due to various reasons.
Our staffs are unable to accompany every beneficiary to their appointments because of our limited capacity. The assistance of medical volunteers is definitely essential for our friends in making changes to their lives.

Regular commitment is required, preferably one day per week or every two weeks (during Monday to Friday 1000 am – 6:00pm). The volunteer must be available on the same day each week. They will be contacted by our caseworkers the day before their volunteering day with a schedule for the appointments they are needed to escort and help with. |
