Glass goes recycling

Description: Did you know that recycling one glass bottle can save enough energy to power a computer set for half an hour? Our glass recycling activities provide a simple way to reduce our landfill waste while producing energy for us to use. 

Volunteers will collect empty glass bottles from the bars and restaurants in Wan Chai during weekend.

All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with HandsOn and sign up for the activity.

Remarks: 
1.Consists of physical work including sorting, delivering some glasses;  

2.The site is an open space located on the roadside

描述：此回收玻璃活動提供一個簡單的方法以減少堆填區的負荷，同時為我們產生能源。

義工將在週末從灣仔的酒吧及餐廳收集空玻璃瓶。

所有參與這個活動的義工都必須是牽手香港的註冊義工。如有親友希望參與是次活動，必須先註冊成為牽手香港的義工，然後登記此活動。 

備註：
1. 活動需體力勞動，包括分類及傳送玻璃瓶；

2. 活動場地是室外空間。
