Serve-A-Thon: Help with Distributing Fortune Bags to Elderly at Tai Wai
Description: Sunshine Action have made it their mission to support Hong Kong’s impoverished, homeless and in greatest need. On May 12th, they are mobilising volunteers to distribute 3,000 Sunshine Fortune Bags all containing essential food items for low income families. Volunteers will meet with their designated charity to receive the packs and a briefing before delivering the packs to people's homes. Recipients include isolated elderly, people with disabilities and under-resourced families. Children aged 5 and above are welcome to join this activity if accompanied by a guardian and you feel they are comfortable with some extended walking. Please register yourself first then send an email with the name and age of any accompanying children to hohk@handsonhongkong.org
