Urgent Call Out for Help with Cleaning Up HK Trails
Description: Clean Up Hong Kong Trails (CUHKT) is a group of dedicated HK trail walkers that regularly organise clean up actions on our beautiful trails. Following the devastation of Typhoon Mangkhut there is a large amount of debris, rubbish and branches to be cleared from the trails, which volunteers will be clearing during the activity.
Volunteers will be hiking and clearing the 7.6km trail from Pak Tam Chung gate to Wong Shek Pier in Sai Kung. Come prepared and dressed for trail walking and bring your own water and snacks/lunch. Plastic bags, gloves, etc. will be provided.
Clean Up Hong Kong Trails currently has about 250 hikers and the group continues to expand. The hikers have a lot of fun and get heaps of encouragement along the way from fellow trail walkers from near and far. The organization has completed a cleanup hike every month since October 2016 and have no intention of stopping.
