Help at Outing with Intellectual Disabilities in 18 District
活動簡介：義工會陪伴10-20位年齡介乎6-18歲的智障學生走訪香港18區，探索宿舍外的光景。學校希望學生能通過是次活動了解更多有關宿舍外的生活及設施，如文藝中心、戲院、餐廳、工廠大樓以及香港各區文化，在外面與義工和同學玩上一天。 義工將於12月28日和同學日營。12月31日和同學一齊參觀馬鞍山濾水廠。 所有參加者須為牽手‧香港會員。如果您想與親友一同參加此活動，他們須先註冊成為牽手‧香港會員，然後報名參加此活動。 Description: Help at the outing with physical and mental disabilities to explore Hong Kong community outside their dormitory. The special school hopes that the students can enjoy a good day out during weekend and learn more about the facilities like restaurants, cinemas, etc. in the community, local culture of different districts like arts centre, re-vitalized industrial buildings while communicating with others during the interactive outing. Volunteers will keep company with the students to enjoy a camping day on December 28th; and on December 31th, volunteers and the students will pay a visit to Ma On Shan Water Treatment Works. Volunteers will accompany a group of students (10-20 people) who age from 6 years old to 18 years old to travel around Hong Kong. All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with Hands On and sign up for the activity.
